In the heart of Milan, behind an unassuming facade, sits Laboratorio Paravicini, a workshop deeply rooted in family and craftsmanship. As you enter, you’ll notice the name Paravicini on many of the apartment buzzers—this is more than just a studio; it’s a family legacy.

Founded in the 1990s by Costanza Paravicini, the workshop began when she, frustrated by the lack of contemporary ceramic designs, started painting her own. Though the family has since sold some of the building’s apartments, they continue to live above and create below, keeping tradition alive.

Each ceramic piece is crafted and decorated by hand, ensuring no two are alike. Known for its silk-screen decal technique, applied under enamel for exceptional brilliance and durability, the studio’s designs—often imagined by Costanza’s daughters, Benedetta and Margherita—blend whimsical motifs, intricate patterns, and timeless elegance.
